Who we are

About ASPY

A heritage forged in the lecture halls of Polytechnic Yaoundé — carried forward by thousands of graduates serving Cameroon and the world.

Our History

Founded by the first Anglophone graduates of the National Advanced School of Engineering (Polytechnic Yaoundé), ASPY was born out of a desire to keep the bonds of academic brotherhood alive long after graduation. From informal reunions in the early years, the association has grown into a structured organization with chapters across Cameroon, Africa, Europe and North America.

Over the decades, ASPY members have distinguished themselves in engineering, public service, entrepreneurship, and academia. Today, the association is a respected voice in the engineering community and a vital support network for new graduates entering the profession.

We honour our founders by continuing their work — mentoring students, funding scholarships, and giving back to Polytechnic Yaoundé and the communities that shaped us.
