ASPY Alumni Special Committees Established

In accordance with Article XI of the Constitution and following the resolutions of the General Assembly, four Special Committees have been established to support the creation and operationalisation of ASPY Alumni. Each runs from 20 June to 30 September 2026 and reports monthly to the Executive Committee.

Mentorship Committee

Head: Roy Arthur Ngansop

Design the ASPY Alumni Mentorship Framework — objectives, eligibility, matching, KPIs, code of conduct — and lay foundations for a sustainable mentorship ecosystem linking Aspians and Alumni. Implementation begins October 2026.

Official Launching Committee

Head: Mih Njua Odette · Deputy: Angu Abongwa / Fonteh Bonaventure

Conceptualise the Official Launching of ASPY Alumni (January 2027) as the first major strategic convention: theme, venue, two-day programme (Strategic Convention, Gala, Strategic Assembly), sponsorships, partnerships and preparatory discussion documents.

Mobilisation Committee

Head: Efuet Atem

Ensure every reachable ASPY Alumnus learns about the Association — identify and reconnect with alumni worldwide, drive membership registration, promote the Strategic Master Plan, recruit volunteers, and enrich the alumni database.

Permanent Secretariat Committee

Head: Brenda Alemkeng & Blaise Fonyuy · Deputy: Angela Tamo (ASPY President)

Carry out the preparatory work for the Permanent Secretariat: official registration, engagement with Polytechnic for office space, bank and momo accounts, recruitment of the Operations Director, and operational launch in September 2026.
